Boasting twin rear-center mounted electric motors and R8-inspired styling, the Audi E-Tron will surely give the Teslas of the world a run for their money — if it ever gets past the concept stage. The E-Tron’s striking looks and eco-friendly cred are joined by performance numbers such as 204hp, a 0-100 kph time of 5.9 seconds, and a 60-120 kph time of just 5.1 seconds. The E-Tron also employs an ASF-design aluminum body to reduce its curb weight down to under 3,000 lbs., Audi’s MMI system to control vehicle functions, and a built-in heat pump and climate control system that heat or cool the interior as appropriate while the E-Tron’s energy storage unit recharges.
